Pre-pandemic, the Fender Custom Shop Showcase event was one of the biggest drawcards of the NAMM Show in Anaheim, California at the start of each year.


Fender Custom Shop dealers from around the world would put their business cards on any guitar in the showcase they were interested in purchasing and then the cards would be drawn out of a hat at random for each guitar, the lucky dealer who's card was drawn out would get to purchase the unique showcase instrument for their store.

During the pandemic this event has become an online affair where the guitars are allocated at random to dealers who have placed online bids to buy the instruments.
