Guitar Station is owned by a pair of left handed guitar nerds who between them have a truly remarkable guitar collection.
With a lot going on throughout 2025, Guitar Station has some big changes (and therefore big investments!) in the pipeline so as part of the journey, the fellas have nominated a few guitars from the epic lefty collection to put up for sale.
When the owner of the store has over a decade experience under his belt as Australia's foremost Fender guitar salesperson, it's only natural that any Tele he'd handpick for himself is going to be an absolute cracker!
This Tele is super light - 3.16 kg / 6.96 lb - Lighter than a lot of the 'sort for lightweight body wood' Ash body Telecasters that come out of the Fender Custom Shop these days. It also has great dynamics and resonance.
We snapped photos on two different days with the exact same iPhone...An overcast day and a sunny day. You'll see there's two very different contrasting colour tones in the photos (we don't like editing colours, we stick to what the camera sees), in our opinion the colour we see when looking at it in person is basically halfway between the two.
Overall condition is very good, just a couple of dings as pictured...The dings show off just how thin the finish is on these which is why it's so resonant, unlike the current '52 reissues from Fender.
Comes in its original Fender tweed hardcase and includes original case candy.
