Fender Custom Shop Limited Edition '63 Stratocaster - Aged Lake Placid Blue, Heavy Relic
Weight: 3.22 kg / 7.11 lb
We scored this guitar early 2021 from a virtual Fender Custom Shop prestige dealer event that was held online for stores around the world in lieu of the usual NAMM Show event that traditionally happens in California each January.
This highly limited edition guitar features a gorgeous dark round-lam Rosewood fingerboard and one of the most resonant Alder bodies we've come across in ages - This guitar sings!
The quartersawn Maple neck is carved to a 1963 C-shape, the fingerboard radius is 9.5" and it's fitted with narrow-tall fretwire.
Other neat inclusions are genuine Hand-Wound Fender Custom Shop Fat '60s pickups, Vintage Modified #2 Wiring with Tone-Saver Bleed, and of course the meticulously aged heavy relic Nitrocellulose Lacquer finish in Aged Lake Placid Blue.
This instrument ships in a genuine Fender G&G hardcase and includes a leather strap and certificate of authenticity.
