Description
Guitar Station is owned by a pair of left handed guitar nerds who between them have a truly remarkable guitar collection.
With a lot going on throughout 2025, Guitar Station has some big changes (and therefore big investments!) in the pipeline so as part of the journey, the fellas have nominated a few guitars from the epic lefty collection to put up for sale.
This is the quintessential simple-yet-beautiful acoustic guitar - Gibson's famous J-45 Standard.
It has THAT tone, big open bottom-end, rich woody midrange and well defined top-end...As well as the unmistakable sound of a relaxed 24.75 scale length acoustic. It also has a basic Fishman pickup on board though to be honest, it's a fairly useless pickup compared to most...But this guitar isn't really about the plugged in vibe anyway, it's all about the glorious acoustic tone!
Cosmetically is has obviously seen some use. Nothing major, just wear spots and minor dents in the lacquer in various areas of the body, as well as an obvious dull area in the clearcoat where a left arm has been rubbing while strumming all these years.
There's plenty of fret life and the guitar has been set up low and very easy to play with 12-52 strings.
Comes with original Gibson hardcase which is in very decent shape considering the age.
