Description
The made-in-Japan Supernatural TDN15C dreadnought guitar is one of the standout handcrafted instruments in Takamine's Pro Series.
The underlying theme of the Takamine Supernatural line of guitars is understated elegance. The satin finish provides durability and lasting beauty and the look is accented by a genuine wood inlaid rosette. Gold tuning machines with amber pearl buttons further add to the premium look of the instrument.
All Takamine Supernatural guitar tonewoods are hand-selected, premium grade timbres. The solid Red Cedar top with scalloped X bracing, is voiced to be deep and mellow and responds well to a light touch - An excellent choice for solo or duo performers or singer/songwriters - While the solid Indian Rosewood back aids in projection.
Gigging musicians will appreciate the innovative pinless bridge design that makes string changes a breeze.
When you hit the stage, the guitar is amplified by Takamine's two-channel CT4-DX which offers the ultimate in preamp flexibility. Used with the Palathetic under-saddle pickup, it offers four-band EQ (low, low mid, high mid, high) and two notch filter controls to reduce feedback. The preamp design gives you the flexability to add an optional second pickup (the Takamine Tri-Ax, for example) and allows independent control over both pickups, each of which will then have two-band EQ and a notch filter control. You can also alter the mix levels of each of the pickups. Other features include volume control and onboard tuner.
Ships in a genuine Takamine hardcase.
